Volunteers releasing turtles at tecoman turtle camp
In October 2007 our volunteers have been releasing an average of 1000 hatchlings every day. At Tecoman Turtle camp volunteers have achieved an amazing 87% birth rate, improving the numbers of previous years.

Few weeks after the end of the nesting season, thousands of hatchlings race to the ocean. Projects Abroad volunteers collect the baby turtles to later release them in a safe area.
